We are in Amsterdam with our gang of 6; Petra’s sister and husband and our old friends Josh and Sara from way back in the band days. Halfway through, I broke my lens in a pub after thinking it was securely fastened when it actually wasn’t. Petra and I reunite with some long lost friends we made over a decade earlier in the city who we haven’t seen since! This was a great moment of coordinated serendipity (I wasn’t even that upset about the lens). We say goodbye to Josh and Sara and head off to Antwerp and then take the incredible English Channel Tunnel Train WITH THE CAR INSIDE back to England!
