After leaving England, we crossed the English Channel on a ferry and drove to Mont St. Michel where we camped nearby, explored and then headed off to Simon and Helen’s monastery to relax for a few days while Richard recovered from some mysterious illness. Then the two of us took a train to Paris where we stayed in the Le Marais district for 4 days.
