Moving along towards my goal of eventually being able to film, edit and color treat low budget music videos for bands in the greater Chicago area, I’ve put together these little videos as an experiment. Shot and edited in two days in Chicago (just about 4 miles from home) these short videos were “color corrected” using the AfterEffects application. After finishing them, I’ve discovered many mistakes and learned a lot about the process and software I will eventually have to master in order to accomplish the level of quality I’m hoping to reach in the next year or so.
Hope you enjoy them.
Once you click the play button, don’t forget to hit the “HD” button to see it in all its High Definition glory and click the fill screen button on the bottom right – it really does make an enormous difference.
Please feel free to leave comments and let me know what you think of these experiments.
Also, if YouTube has removed the music from these videos for copyright reasons, you can view them HERE on Vimeo, who don’t bother with such ridiculous trivialities.
long shots and sigur ros. excellent work, robbie.
