In Part 2 of our Thanksgiving adventure, we end up stranded 13 miles from the nearest major road when our Jeep slides into a ditch on the side of a mountain. With another snowstorm looming down on us and temperatures dropping, we snowshoe to the nearest outpost; a remote Mennonite campground to seek shelter and help. Special thanks to Matt and Michael from Fred’s Towing in Woodland Park, Tom from the Mennonite Campground for letting us use their phone and Eric who tried tirelessly to pull us out of the ditch to no avail.
