This was our last camping trip of 2016. It was also our first backcountry camping. Trekking incredible distances and at an alarming rate, our new friends Therry and Justin kept up the pace and energy long enough for us to find an amazing spot near Mt. Evans off of the Chicago Lakes Trail. Sad to see the warm weather go so soon, but it will return no doubt and in the meantime, there’s plenty of snowshoeing to do!
